Cavendish Beach Drive-In Series is PEI’s Only Live Drive-In Concert Series

Enjoy live performances from local artists, live on stage, live through your car radio. Located at the Cavendish Beach Events Centre, home of the Cavendish Beach Music Festival. See you this summer to enjoy some of your favourite Island performers!


  • Where is the Cavendish Drive In Concert Series taking place?

    At the Cavendish Beach Events Centre, home of the Cavendish Beach Music Festival, located at 8779 Route 6, Cavendish PE behind Avonlea Village.

  • How can I buy tickets?

    Tickets can be purchased online at Tickets will also be available on-site. Tickets will be sold as a carload or you can purchase individual passes. All passengers in the car must have a seatbelt.

  • How much are tickets?

    Individual pass (must be in a vehicle): $15 

    Carload Pass: $60

    RV Pass: $100

    Motorcycle: $35

    + taxes and services fees. Subject to capacity. 

  • Am I able to reserve a parking spot?

    Parking spot reservations are not available. Parking spots will be assigned first come, first served. Please view our site map to see where the spots will be: SITE MAP


  • Will someone show me where to park?

    All vehicles will be parked by a parking attendant to ensure social distancing is in place. Please be patient with this process as we adhere to social distance requirements. Please view sitemap with details on where the main entrance and exit are HERE.


  • Is there food and beverage available for purchase?

    Yes food and beverage will be available to purchase through the MHG Delivered App. There will be a variety of food and beverage options to choose. You must order and pay using the app and your order will be delivered right to your car. When you are parking your car, you will receive a ticket letting you know your parking spot number, which you will need to provide when ordering your food in the mobile applications special instructions. Please familiarize yourself with the menu and download the app prior to arriving at the venue. Find the menu and details on how to order in our PROGRAM 

  • Can I purchase alcoholic beverages?
    Yes, alcoholic beverages are now available for purchase through the MHG Delivered app. Maximum 2 drinks per person, per order. Must be consumed outside of the vehicle. 19+, age verification required upon drop-off. Please enjoy responsibly.  
  • Are there washrooms onsite?

    Yes, there is a mix of permanent and porta potties on site. A map will be provided to you at the entrance that will indicate the nearest washrooms to you. Washrooms will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the evening. View our Site Map to see where washroom facilities will be. 


  • Can I sit outside my car?

    As of our July 25th show, yes! You can bring a bag chair and sit in your designated parking spot. We ask that you still do not congregate in large groups. 

  • What time does the concert start?

    Entertainment will start at 5:30pm. Gates will open between 4:00pm - 4:30pm. All set lists are subject to change.


  • What time does the concert end?

    Entertainment will end at approximately 10:00pm.

  • Can I bring my pet?

    Yes, but please make sure they are on a leash, they have ample water and you clean up after them.

  • Is there RV Parking?

    Yes, there will be a limited number of RV parking spots available at the back of the car sites. There is no electrical hook up for the RV.

  • Can I attend the show on a motorcycle?

    Yes you can.

  • Are walk-ins permitted?

    Unfortunately, they are not. Everyone entering the site must have a vehicle. We will let you know if that changes!


  • How will I hear the concert?

    You will be directed to turn your vehicle radio to a certain radio station. The sound will be transmitted via FM radio transmitters right into your vehicle’s radio. Portable radios will also work.


  • Can I leave and come back?

    No, there is a no re-entry policy for the concert series.


  • Will cars be searched at the point of entry?

    All cars are subject to being searched before entering the venue.

  • What happens if there is inclement weather?

    If the forecast indicates inclement weather, the show will be postponed to another date. We will email all ticket buyers and post on our social channels if a show gets postponed.

  • If the battery in my car dies will I be able to get it boosted?

    Yes, we will be able to boost your car if your battery happens to die. Our first priority will be to get all cars out of the venue before boosting your car.


    *Prior to attending the concert please get familiar with your car lights and how you can shut them off.

  • What is not permitted?

    Legal or illegal drugs, Alcohol, Weapons, Firearms, Drones, Professional Video Recording Equipment.

  • Safety Notes

    • Please SLOW down. While inside the drive-in parking area please do not go more than 10 kms/ hr under any circumstances.


    • Please slow down and look out for children. They may pop out in between cars.


    • When parked please put on your parking brake. This will keep your headlights off and your car will not roll away.


    • When leaving the drive-in please take a look around your car to make sure you do not back over anything that may have been placed around your car without you knowing.


    • Please do not leave trash in your parking spot. There will be trash-cans available.


    • Put on your seatbelt on your way home, it only takes a second to save your life.
