  • When is the 2021 Bell Presents: The First Stop on the Road Back to Cavendish?

    This year, we’re hittin’ the Road Back to Cavendish – First Stop presented by Bell – on August 27th & 28th in the coastal community of Cavendish, Prince Edward Island.

     

  • Where is the 2021 Bell Presents: The First Stop on the Road Back to Cavendish?

    The site is located at 8779 Route 6, Cavendish, Prince Edward Island – centrally located between the cities of Charlottetown and Summerside.

  • What are the hours of the Festival?

    Friday (August 27): 4pm – 10:30pm
    Saturday (August 28): 2pm – 10:30pm 

  • Will the grounds be sectioned into cohorts?

    Yes, the Chief Public Health Office let us know that it’s best to have cohorts of 200 people during the August 27 & 28 concert weekend. 

    • Festival grounds will be sectioned into cohorts of 200
    • Cohorts will be filled on a first-come first-served basis
    • Please arrive at the same time as your party to ensure entry into the same cohort if desired
    • Wristbands will be given upon entry to designated cohorts
    • You will be free to exit your cohort to use washroom facilities and to purchase food and beverage

  • Can I buy tokens onsite?

    We won’t be selling tokens onsite this year but every vendor will be accepting debit and credit cards. You can also use tokens if you have any from previous years!

Tickets

  • What are “tier” tickets?

    Tiers are a way for us to differentiate ticket prices as they change throughout the year. They're not different ticket types, but rather a way for us to manage ticket inventory.

  • Are you mailing wristbands this year?

    Not this year! You will receive a PDF ticket in your confirmation email. You can print the PDF ticket and have us scan it at the main gate OR we can scan the pdf ticket right from your phone! There will be no will call this year.

  • Can I refund my ticket?

    Sorry, no refunds or exchanges on tickets.

  • Can I exchange my ticket?

  • Does CBMF have private party or corporate hosting opportunities?

    You bet! Corporate suites, SunRoof tables and VIP tickets are all a great way to host corporate clients, friends or family. Get in touch at info@cavendishbeachmusic.com to discuss corporate hosting opportunities and get your private party started!

Travelling to CBMF

  • Is there a shuttle bus option?

    Yes! Maritime Bus/Coach Atlantic is offering convenient round trip shuttle bus service between the concert site and Charlottetown.

    Skip the driving, forget the traffic, and take the convenient way home! 

  • Where do I park?

    We have designated “Cavendish Beach Music Festival” parking lots that can be utilized. Premium Parking, located behind the main stage is $20 per day. No ticket types include complimentary parking in 2021 and there are no pre-sold parking passes in 2021.  All parking is first-come, first-serve.

  • Where is the nearest city?

    Both Summerside & Charlottetown are very closer to the Cavendish Beach Events Centre.

    Charlottetown (driving time) –> 45 minutes

    Summeride (driving time) –> 35 minutes

  • Is there a pick up/ drop off area?

    Not at this time.

  • Am I allowed to bring a backpack or purse into the Festival?

    Yes, but there are certain items that are NOT permitted and cannot be brought onto the Cavendish Beach Festival grounds in a backpack or purse. The Festival reserves the right to alter carry-in policies at any time. Currently, items NOT permitted include, but are not limited to:

    ●Framed Backpacks
    ●Large bags
    ●Other carry-ins
    ●Umbrellas
    ●Outside food or beverages
    ●Cans or glass bottles
    ●Alcohol
    ●Contraband
    ●Pets
    ●Video equipment
    ●Professional cameras
    ●Recording devices
    ●Laser pointers
    ●Skateboards
    ●Inline skates
    ●Kites
    ●Drones
    ●Frisbees
    ●Picnic baskets
    ●Weapons of any kind
    ●Go Pro’s & Selfie Sticks

  • What should I do if I lose my child inside the Festival?

    If your child becomes lost inside of the festival grounds, please notify a uniformed security officer or volunteer.

  • What is allowed? (all items subject to inspection, prior to entry, at venue gates):

    ● Non framed backpacks (they will be subject to inspection at venue gates)
    ● Small purses (they will be subject to inspection at venue gates)
    ● 1 sealed bottle of water, 1L or less

  • Can I bring food or drink into the Festival grounds?

    No. No outside beverages or food of any kind is allowed. However, one sealed bottle of water, 1L or less will be permitted. Once inside the festival, you can purchase food and drink from a variety of vendors.

  • If I have a dietary restriction, what should I do?

    If you have a doctor’s note or another form of dietary restriction identification you are able to bring a reasonable amount of food on-site; however, all items must be pre-packaged and sealed. We pride ourselves on having a variety of gluten free and dairy free options at the festival. If you have a specific dietary question, please email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com

  • Once inside, can I leave and return later?

    There is no in and out privileges for any ticket type for this event. 

  • Can I sell my stuff in the parking lots?

    If not approved, absolutely not. If you are caught you will be asked to leave the area immediately.

  • If I am a volunteer, media, vendor or staff where do I check in?

    The check-in tent is located right beside the Corporate Suites entrance. Everyone entering as a volunteer must have a volunteer t-shirt. Vendors and staff must arrive by 6pm with absolutely no exceptions. If you are not on the list, there is a box office right beside check in to purchase a ticket.

  • Can I bring a camera to the Festival?

    No professional audio/video recording devices are allowed. The Cavendish Beach Music Festival defines professional cameras to be anything with a removable lens. NEW: GoPro's are prohibited.

  • Can I bring chairs?

    Yes. Standard “bag” chairs are acceptable to bring. Do NOT bring high back lawn chairs. If your “bag” chair is blocking the view of an individual behind you, we will ask you to remove that particular chair. Limited chairs, provided by the festival are available in the VIP section, but you can bring your own “bag” chair into VIP if need be. Chairs left unoccupied in the line-up prior to gates opening will be removed.

  • Can I bring a stroller for my child into the Festival?

    Yes. Strollers are acceptable.

  • Can I bring in a prescription?

    Prescription medication is allowed in the original prescription bottle, any guests attempting to bring in prescription medication must have photo identification card that matches the name printed on the prescription, and the pills in the bottle must match the description printed on the prescription.

    Over-the-counter medications are allowed in – provided that they are new and the original, factory-sealed container.

  • Where is the lost & found?

    During the festival, the lost & found is located in the sponsor pavilion. If you have lost an item, please email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com

Mobility Impairment

  • Do I need a special ticket to sit on the accessible platform?

    Yes! Simply email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com and a customer service representative will reach out to you to purchase. If you already bought a pass or someone else bought you a General Admission weekend pass, let us know and we'll swap your ticket for an accessible ticket.

    You are allowed to have one and only one companion with you on the platform due to capacity reasons. If you wish to take someone with you on the accessible platform you may both will need the accessible platform ticket enter through the corporate entrance and enjoy the accessible platform.

    Accessible tickets allow you to enter through the corporate suites/ staff entrance, have a spot on the accessible platform and utilize the accessible washrooms nearby.

  • What if I have difficulty walking?

    Do you have mobility issues? We pride ourselves on making sure everyone has an amazing experience at our festival. For the 2021 festival, anyone who wants to use the accessible entrance or viewing platform must have an Accessible General Admission Weekend pass that must be purchased through our office via email: info@cavendishbeachmusic.com. Individuals using this service are allowed one (1) companion, who must also have an Accessible General Admission Weekend Pass.

    Accessible parking this year will only be in the East Premium Parking lot and will be available first come, first serve on-site for those who have a government-issued accessible parking pass for $20.

    Ask an attendant at the VIP entrance to the south of the venue if you need use of a wheelchair. For any other questions, concerns, or additional information, please email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com

  • Is the Festival wheelchair accessible?

    The Festival is accredited as “Fully Accessible” by Access Advisor. We offer a wealth of services to our physically challenged guests to ensure a positive experience. Services include an accessible parking lot for those with the government issued parking passes (parking fee is required), a Pat & The Elephant  shuttle service to and from the parking lot, Corporate Suite entrance access, accessible washrooms, crushed gravel pathways, and an accessible viewing platform that offers a premium view of the main stage. Our accessible viewing platform is fully licensed and comes complete with a beverage server. Space is limited and is offered on a first-come first-serve basis with a special “Accessible” ticket type.   • Are wheelchairs available at the Festival?

    A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the Corporate Suites entrance. There is no charge for usage, but a valid picture I.D. and/or driver’s license must be left with the gate attendant. When the wheelchair is returned to the same gate it was obtained at, the I.D. will be returned.

  • If I have an accessible parking pass provided to me by the Government, do I still have to pay for parking?

    Yes, everyone has to pay for parking, but accessible parking is conveniently located right by the Corporate suites/ staff entrance on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will try to accommodate as best we can.

    Pat & The Elephant also offers transportation services to anyone in need. This service is first-come/ first-serve, but is very efficient and drops off right at the Corporate Suite gates from the bus/ shuttle marshaling area.

  • Can I bring my service animal with me?

    Yes. Service animals are allowed, but pets are not.
