  • When is the 2020 Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell?

    This year’s festival will be held July 10, July 11, July 12, 2020 in the coastal community of Cavendish, Prince Edward Island.

  • Where is the Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell?

    The Cavendish Beach Music Festival site is located at 8779 Route 6, Cavendish, Prince Edward Island. Centrally located between the cities of Charlottetown and Summerside.

Tickets

  • Where can I purchase my tickets?

    Tickets can be purchased online or on-site during the event at one of our three box offices.

  • How much are tickets?

  • What are “tier” tickets?

    Tiers are a way for us to differentiate ticket prices as they increase throughout the year- they are not different ticket types. It’s also a way for us to manage ticket inventory.

  • Does CBMF have VIP seating?

    Yes. There are a number of different VIP experiences. Specific information on each ticket type can be found HERE.

    All VIP areas are licensed; children and guests under the age of 19 must have their own full priced VIP ticket AND must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while in this area.

    P.S. the only VIP tickets that have assigned seating are the Hayloft & SunRoof Tables.

     

  • Where are the Corporate, VIP, Hayloft, and Sunroof areas?

  • Do you have a payment plan?

    In the past, the Cavendish Beach Music Festival has had a “payment plan” or “EZ Pay plan”, but due to lack of interest there will not be a payment plan available.

  • Are you mailing wristbands this year?

    No. You will receive a PDF ticket in your confirmation email. You can print the PDF ticket and have us scan it at the main gate OR we can scan the pdf ticket right from your phone! There will be no will call this year.

  • Is there a place that I can leave a ticket for a friend?

    Yes - you can leave tickets at the General Admission & VIP Entrance Box Office locations.

  • I bought my ticket on Kijiji – how do I check if it is valid?

    There is absolutely no way to check and we won’t attempt to try. Always purchase tickets directly from us, for your own safety and reassurance.

  • Does CBMF process refunds?

    No. No refunds or exchanges including, but not limited to, failure of performer(s) to appear, changes in performer(s), or cancellation due to inclement weather.

  • Can I exchange my ticket(s) if I do not use them?

    No. No refunds or exchanges including, but not limited to, failure of performer(s) to appear, changes in performer(s), or cancellation due to inclement weather.

  • Does CBMF have private party or corporate hosting opportunities?

    Yes! Corporate suites, SunRoof tables and VIP tickets are all a great way to host corporate clients, friends or family. For more information please email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com 

Travelling to CBMF

  • Where do I park?

    There many parking options at the festival.  We have three designated “Cavendish Beach Music Festival” parking lots that can be utilized. Premium Parking, located behind the main stage is $20 per day. Parking by the Cavendish Tourist Mart is $10 per day. No ticket types include complimentary parking in 2019 and there are no pre-sold parking passes in 2020. Updated maps will be available in the weeks leading up to the festival. All parking is first-come, first-serve.

  • Where is the nearest city?

    Both Summerside & Charlottetown are very closer to the Cavendish Beach Events Centre.

    Charlottetown (driving time) --> 45 minutes

    Summeride (driving time) --> 35 minutes

  • Do you have travel packages?

  • Is there a pick up/ drop off area?

    Not at this time.

  • Am I allowed to bring a backpack or purse into the Festival?

    Yes, but there are certain items that are NOT permitted and cannot be brought onto the Cavendish Beach Festival grounds in a backpack or purse. Cavendish Beach Festival reserves the right to alter carry-in policies at any time. Currently, items NOT permitted include, but are not limited to:

    ●Framed Backpacks
    ●Large bags
    ●Other carry-ins
    ●Umbrellas
    ●Outside food or beverages
    ●Cans or glass bottles
    ●Alcohol
    ●Contraband
    ●Pets
    ●Video equipment
    ●Professional cameras
    ●Recording devices
    ●Laser pointers
    ●Skateboards
    ●Inline skates
    ●Kites
    ●Drones
    ●Frisbees
    ●Picnic baskets
    ●Weapons of any kind
    ●Go Pro's & Selfie Sticks

  • What should I do if I lose my child inside the Festival?

    If your child becomes lost inside of the festival grounds, please notify a uniformed security officer or volunteer.

  • What is allowed? (all items subject to inspection, prior to entry, at venue gates):

    ● Non framed backpacks (they will be subject to inspection at venue gates)
    ● Small purses (they will be subject to inspection at venue gates)
    ● 1 sealed bottle of water, 1L or less

  • Can I bring food or drink into the Festival grounds?

    No. No outside beverages or food of any kind is allowed. However, one sealed bottle of water, 1L or less will be permitted. Once inside the festival, you can purchase food and drink from a variety of vendors.

  • If I have a dietary restriction, what should I do?

    If you have a doctor’s note or another form of dietary restriction identification you are able to bring a reasonable amount of food on-site; however, all items must be pre-packaged and sealed. We pride ourselves on having a variety of gluten free and dairy free options at the festival. If you have a specific dietary question, please email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com

  • Once inside, can I leave and return later?

    Yes. You may leave and return, but you must obtain a return wristband and it must be placed securely on your wrist for re-entry. Upon re-entry you will need to have a valid wristband for that particular day.

  • Can I sell my stuff in the parking lots?

    If not approved, absolutely not. If you are caught you will be asked to leave the area immediately.

  • If I am a volunteer, media, vendor or staff where do I check in?

    The check-in tent is located right beside the Corporate Suites entrance. Everyone entering as a volunteer must have a volunteer t-shirt. Vendors and staff must arrive by 6pm with absolutely no exceptions. If you are not on the list, there is a box office right beside check in to purchase a ticket.

  • Can I bring a camera to the Festival?

    No professional audio/video recording devices are allowed. The Cavendish Beach Music Festival defines professional cameras to be anything with a removable lens. NEW: GoPro's are prohibited.

  • Can I bring chairs?

    Yes. Standard "bag" chairs are acceptable to bring. Do NOT bring high back lawn chairs. If your "bag" chair is blocking the view of an individual behind you, we will ask you to remove that particular chair. Limited chairs, provided by the festival are available in the VIP section, but you can bring your own "bag" chair into VIP if need be. Chairs left unoccupied in the line-up prior to gates opening will be removed.

  • Can I bring a stroller for my child into the Festival?

    Yes. Strollers are acceptable.

  • Can I bring in a prescription?

    Prescription medication is allowed in the original prescription bottle, any guests attempting to bring in prescription medication must have photo identification card that matches the name printed on the prescription, and the pills in the bottle must match the description printed on the prescription.

    Over-the-counter medications are allowed in – provided that they are new and the original, factory-sealed container.

  • Where is the lost & found?

    During the festival, the lost & found is located in the sponsor pavilion. If you have lost an item, please email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com

  • How do I become a vendor?

    Vendor applications will be available in January, 2020.

Mobility Impairment

  • Do I need a special ticket to sit on the accessible platform?

    Yes! Simply email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com and a customer service representative will reach out to you to purchase. All accessible tickets must be purchased over the phone. If you have already bought a pass or someone else had bought you a General Admission weekend pass, we can exchange that ticket to reflect an accessible ticket.

     

    You are allowed to have one and only one companion with you on the platform due to capacity reasons. If you wish to take someone with you on the accessible platform you may both will need the accessible platform ticket enter through the corporate entrance and enjoy the accessible platform.

     

    Accessible tickets allow you to enter through the corporate suites/ staff entrance, have a spot on the accessible platform and utilize the accessible washrooms nearby.

  • What if I have difficulty walking?

    Do you have mobility issues? We pride ourselves on making sure everyone has an amazing experience at our festival. For the 2020 festival, anyone who wants to use the accessible entrance or viewing platform must have an Accessible General Admission Weekend pass that must be purchased through our office via email: info@cavendishbeachmusic.com. Individuals using this service are allowed one (1) companion, who must also have an Accessible General Admission Weekend Pass.

    Accessible parking this year will only be in the East Premium Parking lot and will be available first come, first serve on-site for those who have a government-issued accessible parking pass for $20.

    The Pat & The Elephant internal shuttle service from the Bus/ Shuttle marshalling area is a free service that can transport anyone using the taxi/ bus service to the Accessible/ VIP entrance.

    Ask an attendant at the VIP entrance to the south of the venue if you need use of a wheelchair. For additional information, please email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com

  • Is the Festival wheelchair accessible?

    The Cavendish Beach Music Festival is accredited as “Fully Accessible” by Access Advisor. We offer a wealth of services to our physically challenged guests to ensure a positive experience. Services include an accessible parking lot for those with the government issued parking passes (parking fee is required), a Pat & The Elephant  shuttle service to and from the parking lot, Corporate Suite entrance access, accessible washrooms, crushed gravel pathways, and an accessible viewing platform that offers a premium view of the main stage. Our accessible viewing platform is fully licensed and comes complete with a beverage server. Space is limited and is offered on a first-come first-serve basis with a special “Accessible” ticket type.     Pat & The Elephant also offers transportation services to anyone in need. This service is first-come/ first-serve, but is very efficient and drops off right at the Corporate Suite gates from the bus/ shuttle marshaling area.

  • Are wheelchairs available at the Festival?

    A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the Corporate Suites entrance. There is no charge for usage, but a valid picture I.D. and/or driver’s license must be left with the gate attendant. When the wheelchair is returned to the same gate it was obtained at, the I.D. will be returned.

  • If I have an accessible parking pass provided to me by the Government, do I still have to pay for parking?

    Yes, everyone has to pay for parking, but accessible parking is conveniently located right by the Corporate suites/ staff entrance on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will try to accommodate as best we can.

  • Can I bring my service animal with me?
    Yes. Service animals are allowed, but pets are not.
