  • Where can I purchase my tickets?

    Tickets can be purchased online or on-site during the event at one of our three box offices.

  • How much are tickets?

  • What are “tier” tickets?
    Tiers are a way for us to differentiate ticket prices as they change throughout the year. They’re not different ticket types, but rather a way for us to manage ticket inventory.
  • Does CBMF have VIP seating?
    Yes. There are a number of different VIP experiences. Specific information on each ticket type can be found HERE. All VIP areas are licensed; children and guests under the age of 19 must have their own full-priced VIP ticket AND must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while in this area. P.S. the only VIP tickets that have assigned seating are the Hayloft & Sunroof Tables. ticket types

  • When will I get my wristband?
    You will receive your wristband upon entering the festival.
  • Is there a place that I can leave a ticket for a friend?
    Yes – you can leave tickets at the General Admission & VIP Entrance Box Office locations.
  • I bought my ticket on Kijiji – how do I check if it is valid?
    There is absolutely no way to check and we won’t attempt to try. Always purchase tickets directly from us, for your own safety and reassurance.
  • Can I refund my ticket?

  • Can I exchange my ticket?

  • Does CBMF have private party or corporate hosting opportunities?

GETTING TO CBMF

  • Is there a shuttle bus option?

    Yes! Maritime Bus/Coach Atlantic is offering a convenient round-trip shuttle bus service between the concert site and Charlottetown. Reserve your shuttle bus passes here. Skip the driving, forget the traffic, and take the convenient way home!

  • Where do I park?
    We have designated “Cavendish Beach Music Festival” parking lots that can be utilized. Premium Parking, located behind the main stage is $20 per day. No ticket types include complimentary parking in 2022 and there are no pre-sold parking passes in 2022. All parking is first-come, first-serve.
  • Where is the nearest city?
    Both Summerside & Charlottetown are very close to the Cavendish Beach Events Centre. Charlottetown (driving time) –> 45 minutes Summerside (driving time) –> 35 minutes
  • Do you have travel packages?

  • Is there a pick up/ drop off area?
    Not at this time.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • Do I need a special ticket to sit on the accessible platform?
    Yes! Simply email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com and a customer service representative will reach out to you to purchase. If you already bought a pass or someone else bought you a General Admission weekend pass, let us know and we’ll swap your ticket for an accessible ticket. You are allowed to have one and only one companion with you on the platform due to capacity reasons. If you wish to take someone with you on the accessible platform you may both will need the accessible platform ticket enter through the corporate entrance and enjoy the accessible platform. Accessible tickets allow you to enter through the corporate suites/ staff entrance, have a spot on the accessible platform and utilize the accessible washrooms nearby.
  • What if I have difficulty walking?
    Do you have mobility issues? We pride ourselves on making sure everyone has an amazing experience at our festival. For the 2022 festival, anyone who wants to use the accessible entrance or viewing platform must have an Accessible General Admission Weekend pass that must be purchased through our office via email: info@cavendishbeachmusic.com. Individuals using this service are allowed one (1) companion, who must also have an Accessible General Admission Weekend Pass. Accessible parking this year will only be in the East Premium Parking lot and will be available first-come, first-serve on-site for those who have a government-issued accessible parking pass for $20. Ask an attendant at the VIP entrance to the south of the venue if you need the use of a wheelchair.   • Is the Festival wheelchair accessible?
    The Festival is accredited as “Fully Accessible” by Access Advisor. We offer a wealth of services to our physically challenged guests to ensure a positive experience. Services include an accessible parking lot for those with the government issued parking passes (parking fee is required), a Pat & The Elephant shuttle service to and from the parking lot, Corporate Suite entrance access, accessible washrooms, crushed gravel pathways, and an accessible viewing platform that offers a premium view of the main stage. Our accessible viewing platform is fully licensed and comes complete with a beverage server. Space is limited and is offered on a first-come first-serve basis with a special “Accessible” ticket type.   • Are wheelchairs available at the Festival?
    A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the Corporate Suites entrance. There is no charge for usage, but a valid picture I.D. and/or driver’s license must be left with the gate attendant. When the wheelchair is returned to the same gate it was obtained at, the I.D. will be returned.
  • If I have an accessible parking pass provided to me by the Government, do I still have to pay for parking?
    Yes, everyone has to pay for parking, but accessible parking is conveniently located right by the corporate suites/staff entrance on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will try to accommodate as best we can. The Cavendish Beach Music Festival is accredited as “Fully Accessible” by Access Advisor.   • Can I bring my service animal with me?
    Yes. Service animals are allowed, but pets are not.

  • Am I allowed to bring a backpack or purse into the Festival?

    Yes, but there are certain items that are NOT permitted and cannot be brought onto the Cavendish Beach Festival grounds in a backpack or purse. The Festival reserves the right to alter carry-in policies at any time. Currently, items NOT permitted include, but are not limited to:

  • What should I do if I lose my child inside the Festival?
    If your child becomes lost inside of the festival grounds, please notify a uniformed security officer or volunteer.
  • What is allowed? (all items subject to inspection, prior to entry, at venue gates):

    ● Non framed backpacks (they will be subject to inspection at venue gates)
    ● Small purses (they will be subject to inspection at venue gates)
    ● 1 sealed bottle of water, 1L or less

  • Can I bring food or drink into the Festival grounds?
    No. No outside beverages or food of any kind is allowed. However, one sealed bottle of water, 1L or less will be permitted. Once inside the festival, you can purchase food and drink from a variety of vendors. If you have a specific dietary question, please email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com
  • If I have a dietary restriction, what should I do?
    If you have a doctor’s note or another form of dietary restriction identification you are able to bring a reasonable amount of food on-site; however, all items must be pre-packaged and sealed. We pride ourselves on having a variety of gluten free and dairy free options at the festival. If you have a specific dietary question, please email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com
  • Once inside, can I leave and return later?
    Yes, you are free to come and go from the festival with a valid wristband.
  • Can I sell my stuff in the parking lots?
    If not approved, absolutely not. If you are caught you will be asked to leave the area immediately.
  • If I am a volunteer, media, vendor or staff where do I check in?
    The check-in tent is located right beside the Corporate Suites entrance. Everyone entering as a volunteer must have a volunteer t-shirt. Vendors and staff must arrive by 6pm with absolutely no exceptions. If you are not on the list, there is a box office right beside check in to purchase a ticket. ticket types
  • Can I bring a camera to the Festival?
    No professional audio/video recording devices are allowed. The Cavendish Beach Music Festival defines professional cameras to be anything with a removable lens. NEW: GoPro’s are prohibited.
  • Can I bring chairs?
    Yes. Standard “bag” chairs are acceptable to bring. Do NOT bring high back lawn chairs. If your “bag” chair is blocking the view of an individual behind you, we will ask you to remove that particular chair. Limited chairs, provided by the festival are available in the VIP section, but you can bring your own “bag” chair into VIP if need be. Chairs left unoccupied in the line-up prior to gates opening will be removed.
  • Can I bring a stroller for my child into the Festival?
    Yes. Strollers are acceptable.
  • Can I bring in a prescription?
    Prescription medication is allowed in the original prescription bottle, any guests attempting to bring in prescription medication must have photo identification card that matches the name printed on the prescription, and the pills in the bottle must match the description printed on the prescription. Over-the-counter medications are allowed in – provided that they are new and the original, factory-sealed container.
  • Where is the lost & found?
    During the festival, the lost & found is located at the Merch Tent. If you have lost an item, please email info@cavendishbeachmusic.com

VOLUNTEERS

  • Attendance
    We depend on your commitment to the Cavendish Beach Music Festival. If your schedule must change or if you have an emergency, please contact the festival office at volunteer@cavendishbeachmusic.com
  • Arrival & Breaks
    Please arrive through the Check-In/ Volunteer tent (VIP Entrance). You will not be admitted into the festival through any entrance without a volunteer t-shirt. You must check-in and out of every shift. This is necessary to receive credit, and therefore benefits, for the time that you give to the festival. Please be aware that during the festival traffic volumes are higher than normal. Please insure you arrive before your shift or in a timely matter to allow for parking and travel time to the volunteer tent and scheduled area of work.
  • Security Screenings
    Volunteers will be required to go through security screenings including bag searches to the equal extent of festival go-ers.
  • Volunteer Attire
    Every volunteer receives one Cavendish Beach Music Festival volunteer t-shirt. You must wear your shirt while working and change immediately after your shift. We prefer that volunteers also wear khaki pants or shorts. Please be advised to wear comfortable shoes as shifts require you to be on your feet for long periods of time. No sandals or flip flops.
  • Meals & Beverages
    Water will be provided to all volunteers while working. Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed before or during your shift or at any time that you are wearing your volunteer t-shirt. Violation of this rule will result in immediate dismissal and forfeit of your registration and any benefits that you may have earned. Meal tokens will be provided to volunteers during their breaks.
  • Volunteer Benefits
    Tokens will be redeemable throughout the festival for merchandise and other items (subject to availability). Volunteers also receive a discount on tickets (TBD).
  • Training
    All volunteers, new and returning, will be required to attend a training/ information session. Date and time TBD. At this meeting, you will receive your volunteer handbook, t-shirt and give you a chance to meet your Team Leader to learn about the area where you will be working.
  • Special Needs Escort
    Assist guests from VIP entrance to accessible platform as well as assisting individuals in exiting festival grounds.
  • Ushers
    Direct guests to seating areas, keep established aisles clear, and monitor the concert area for any problems.
  • Volunteer Credentialing
    Staff the volunteer entrance, check-in volunteers for their shifts, assist volunteer coordinator with benefits program and keep the hospitality area clean and stocked with supplies.
  • Information/Customer Lounge/Lost & Found
    The Customer Lounge provides amenities such as lockers for rental, couches and a lounge area, ATM machines, lost & found, festival programs and more. Volunteers will oversee this area and provide guests with information on the time and location of events at the festival, location of festival amenities and general information about the Cavendish Beach Area. There will be a radio at this location to contact a volunteer organizer in emergencies. Lost & Found is for personal items but also for lost children and parents. Festival map will clearly indicate this area is for lost persons.

MEDIA

  • Guidelines

    The following guidelines are designed to streamline the check-in procedure for any and all media.

     

    • A Media List is required from each company/ organization planning to attend and enter the event July 7th-9th, 2022. If an updated media list is not received, there will be no entry.
    • The list must be ONLY of the employees who will be WORKING the event.
    • Entire staff lists will not be accepted.
    • Names can be added and/or deleted throughout the festival, however only if the additions will be assisting or representing your organization in some manner.
    • Company/radio station ID badges are NOT a valid Media Pass and will not allow admission to the grounds.
    • Entrance to the grounds will only be granted through the Credentialing Check In located at the VIP entrance (stage left) of the Festival.
    • Media passes are issued daily and are only valid for that day.
    • Your organization is responsible for the distribution of this policy information to your staff. Your organization may receive specific audio/ visual consent forms to fill out each day-these must be signed to enter.

  • Policies
    All accredited media will be notified of designated call time in advance of the event and must check in with at the “Check-In Tent” located by the VIP entrance, South of the Venue. All events are subject to individual artist media policies and any relevant restrictions which must be adhered to. Unless otherwise noted, the house policy will be in effect as follows: Video/Television Cameras: Only approved media cameras are permitted to capture moving footage for television and must be broadcast within 90 days. A complete song cannot be aired, footage is for b-roll and news purposes only. The entire broadcast feature must not exceed 5 minutes in total length. The first 2 minutes of the first 3-songs OR the first 5 minutes (where applicable) of each act may be recorded, unless otherwise advised. Print/Online Photography: Images must be published or posted online within 90 days. The first 15 minutes OR 3-songs (whichever occurs first) of each act can be photographed, unless otherwise advised. No flash, plug-in, or special equipment is permitted for media coverage. Media escorts (Strut Entertainment) will station cameras at Front of House or “Saloon” structure so as to not interfere with the patron experience, and are restricted from approaching the stage; telephoto lens is recommended. Media are not authorized to bring in banners or promotional materials unless otherwise discussed with the festival. Additional restrictions or requirements may apply for interviews, and any footage shot in lobbies, bar etc. and must be approved by the Cavendish Beach Events Centre.
  • Additional Information
    This media application is not a guaranteed entry. You will be notified if you are confirmed and authorized by artist management to enter as media. Media may be disapproved by artists. There is nothing that the festival can do at that point as we do have to support any and all Artist requests. Parking is not included with a media pass.

  • General Serviced Camping

Every camper must have a minimum 3-day Cavendish Beach Music Festival 2022 ticket and a camper ticket which will be redeemed for wristbands which you will receive upon check-in at Route 6 Ranch. Includes (1) campsite at Route 6 Ranch campground with an electrical and water hook-up. All campsites are 500 sq ft. and include (1) Parking Pass (for your vehicle), (1) Camper Pass for your tent, and up to (5) Campground Bracelets. Only one vehicle, one tent, and up to five people are allowed on one campsite. Camping bracelets are valid from Wednesday, July 6th – Sunday, July 10th. Check in is available Wednesday 12pm-8pm and Thursday 9am-8pm. Check out must be completed by Sunday at 11am.
  • General Unserviced Camping
    All campers must be 19 years of age.   • Route 6 Ranch Camping Packages
    All campers must be 19 years of age. Every camper must have a minimum 3-day Cavendish Beach Music Festival 2020 ticket and a camper ticket which will be redeemed for wristbands which you will receive upon check-in at Route 6 Ranch. Packages include one (1) campsite at Route 6 Ranch campground the option of unserviced or serviced sites, two (2) or five (5) General Admission tickets to Cavendish Beach Music Festival 2020. All campsites are 800 sqft and include (1) Parking Pass (for your vehicle), (1) Camper Pass, and up to (5) Campground Bracelets. Only one vehicle, one RV/ tent, and up to five people are allowed on one campsite. Camping bracelets are valid from Wednesday, July 6th – Sunday, July 10th. Check in is available Wednesday 12pm-8pm and Thursday 9am-8pm. Check out must be completed by Sunday at 11am.
  • Route 6 Ranch Extra Parking Pass
    One parking pass is included in all campsites, should you require additional parking you can purchase a 3-Day parking pass to have the ability to park in the general parking lot, at Route 6 Ranch. If you are camping and bringing more than one automobile, you will need to purchase an additional parking pass to park at Route 6 Ranch parking area, as only one vehicle is able to be parked at your campsite.
  • Where is Route 6 Ranch?
    Route 6 Ranch is located in Oyster Bed Bridge, PEI. Approximately 15 minutes from the festival site. Route 6 Ranch is the official campground of the Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell. Address: 4480 Portage Rd, Oyster Bed, PE C1E 0V3, Canada
  • Do you have to be 19+ to camp at Route 6 Ranch?
    Yes. All campers must be 19+. No exceptions. Age will be verified on-site.·Any CANADA government-issued driver’s license or ID card containing a photograph and date of birth. Canadian or foreign government issued passport containing a photograph and date of birth Foreign government-issued driver’s license or ID (must be accompanied by a color photocopy of passport). Two (2) pieces of ID are required (an enhanced drivers license will be accepted as 2 pieces of ID).
  • What is the check in process like?
    Only 1 car per site is allowed. Additional cars are allowed on property but will be charged a small fee and placed nearby. You can purchase an Extra Car Pass on our website. Upon arrival, each member of your group will receive a camping wristband, which will be required for campground entry.
  • My family member/ friend wants to came with us but they are not 19, can they?
    No. Each person must be at least 19 years old to stay on or enter the campgrounds. Age will be verified on-site.
  • Will Route 6 Ranch have shuttles to the Cavendish Beach Music Festival?
    Yes! They will be picking people up at Route 6 Ranch. Times to be announced at a later date. Weekend shuttle bracelets can be purchased at Route 6 Ranch upon arrival. There will be no single-day shuttle bracelets sold at the campground.
  • Does Route 6 Ranch have any restrictions?

    During your stay:

    • No campfires.
    • Generators permitted until 11PM.
    • Place all garbage in provided bag.
    • No cars can leave campground parking lot after 10 AM Saturday until 6AM Sunday.
    • You can not take liquor from campground to concert OR from concert to campground.
    • Do not travel campsite to campsite with open alcohol
    During your stay the following items are prohibited:
    • Drugs or drug paraphernalia
    • Loose pills without a prescription, or expired medications of any kind (all medications, prescription or otherwise, must be in their original container)
    • Hookahs
    • Pets (except service animals)
    • LED gloves or LED Microlights used for light shows
    • Glass bottles (small bottles of perfume/cologne are OK)
    • Mirrors
    • Spray paint
    • Promotional flyers, promotional/corporate branded banners, or vehicles displaying sponsorships or ads
    • Weapons of any kind (includes pocket knives, pepper spray, etc.)
    • Professional recording equipment—photo, video or audio (detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial use rigs)
    • Fireworks
    • Golf carts, dune buggies, off-road motorcycles, Segway's, etc. (bicycles OK)
    • Large speaker systems
    • Air horns
    • Unauthorized vending of food or merchandise, including alcohol
    • Gas generators (solar-powered generators OK

     

    The following actions may result in a warning and/or ejection

    • Irresponsible use of alcohol.
    • Public nudity or lewd behavior.
    • Taunting, bullying, abusive/disruptive language or obscene gestures.
    • Parking or extending RV or tent into fire lanes or outside designated/marked area.
    • Failure to comply with campground safety officers.

     

    The following actions will result in immediate ejection

    • Relieving your bladder or bowels anywhere other than approved restrooms/porta-potties.
    • Fighting or engaging in any action that may harm, endanger or threaten to bring discomfort to anyone.
    • Public sexual behavior.
    • Possession/use of illegal drugs.
    • Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of any property.

  • What can I bring to Route 6 Ranch while I am camping?
    Acceptable items: • Your Tent! • E-Z UP/shade structure • Tennis balls or caps used for tent stakes • Sleeping bags, blankets, pillows • Propane grills (small tank only) • Ice chests/coolers • Food and beverages/water • Chairs • Trash bags • CamelBaks & reusable waster bottles • Fanny packs • Non-professional flash/still cameras and hand-held video cameras (e.g., Sony Action Cam, GoPro) • Cell phones • Sunglasses and hats • Lighters and sealed packs of cigarettes • Earplugs • Sunscreen • Sealed lip balm/gloss • Makeup and sealed/wrapped tampons • Sealed packs of gum • Glowing/illuminated costumes or jewelry • Hula hoops (especially LED hoops!) • Totems/decorated pool noodles (see below for guidelines) • Inflatables (deflated upon entry) • Flags/banners or handmade signs (no corporate or company-branded ones) • Non-amplified (acoustic) musical instruments • Liquor, beer, and wine will be limited to (per person): CANS ONLY, NO GLASS BOTTLES One(1) case of 24 Beer OR One(1) 26oz Bottle of Spirits OR Two(2) 750ml Bottles of Wine
  • What amenities will Route 6 Ranch have?
    Route 6 Ranch has washroom and shower facilities (limited), but is mainly a rustic campground.

    Yes, certain camping packages do include General Admission Festival Weekend Passes. Please check the camping description closely when purchasing your camping.

    Cavendish Beach Music Festival will continue to work with the Chief Public Health Office (CPHO) of Prince Edward Island as guidelines and policies evolve over the coming months. We will be following all policies and protocols they put in place in our province. For example, if CBMF was held today, you would need to be fully vaccinated to attend, as per CPHO guidelines. Stay tuned, and we will provide updates in 2022.
